Maldon & Tiptree FC

Maldon & Tiptree FC, known as The Jammers, are Maldon’s leading football club. They compete in the Isthmian League North Division—the eighth tier of English football, also referred to as Step 4.

Managed by former Manchester City player Kevin Horlock, the team plays at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium on Park Drive, located beside Madison Heights.

This family-friendly club welcomes new supporters on match days. Visitors can enjoy excellent facilities, including a clubhouse with two bars, hot food and snacks, seated stands, and a floodlit grass pitch. Most matches take place at 3pm on Saturdays, though postponed games, league fixtures, and cup ties are sometimes played on Tuesday evenings.

In February 2005, the club was purchased by the Drewitt-Barlow Organisation (DBO), ushering in a period of major development both on and off the pitch. This has included significant investment in the first team, upgraded facilities, the creation of an Under-18 side, and the launch of Maldon & Tiptree’s first ever ladies team, expertly managed by Jody Buckley.

The Jammers Fans Association (JFA) is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and strengthening Maldon & Tiptree FC.
Founded at the start of 2022, the JFA has quickly grown into a thriving community, bringing together supporters who may otherwise have watched matches alone. Many lasting friendships have been formed, and fans of all ages enjoy meeting up for both home and away games.
Throughout the season, the JFA leads several charitable initiatives, including an Easter egg collection for underprivileged children, a 12-mile sponsored walk, and donation drives in support of the Maldon Food Pantry.
The JFA also runs a 100 Club draw, giving out over £950 in prize money each year, with two cash prizes awarded every month.
